For the third straight season, Jon Kitna was not challenged as the starter. Dan Orlovsky lacks the experience and leadership of Kitna, who is the team leader. The Lions will go with just two quarterbacks until Drew Stanton returns from injury. Even when he returns he is likely the third man for the rest of the season. Drew Henson will start as the third quarterback. He said he's OK with being on the practice squad this season.
